UMK drug is on the rise! This is how Finland’s next representative for Eurovision will be chosen

Finland will elect its 55th Eurovision Song Contest next Saturday.

The final of the exciting New Music competition is coming today, Saturday. One of the seven competitions will win a representative trip to the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin.

The winner of the evening will be chosen by public vote and an international jury. The weight of the audience votes is 75 per cent and the number of points awarded by the International Jury is 25 per cent.

Yle has already published the order of the evening’s performances:

1. The Rasmus – Jezebel

2. Isaac Sene – Hot ice

3. Olivera – Thank God I’m an Atheist

4. Bess – Ram pam pam

5. Younghearted – Sun number

6. Cyan Kicks – Hurricane

7. Tommi Läntinen – Life carries me

The final will be seen live on YLE TV1 and Yle Arena from 9 pm. The program is hosted by tuber Mmiisas, ie Miisa Rotola-Pukkila as well as the singer Paula Vesala.

Pre-favorites

Iltalehti previously asked readers for their UMK favorite. The Rasmus won the vote by collecting 4011 votes.

Cyan Kicks finished second in the split vote Hurricane as well as Isaac Sene with his song Hot ice each with 944 votes.

Bess, on the other hand, has managed to keep the top spot on Finland’s Spotify list for a long time, so a tough fight is expected on Saturday night.
