Ukraine received more than 30 billion euros in aid in 2022 | War Ukraine and Russia

The aid thus amounted to about 16 percent of Ukraine’s pre-war economic output. The country’s gross domestic product has collapsed by more than 30 percent in 2022 as a result of the war, according to estimates by the Kiev Ministry of Economy.

Russia invaded Ukraine at the end of February and has occupied more than 18 percent of Ukrainian territory, including the Crimea peninsula, which was annexed in 2014. Ukraine is largely dependent on foreign aid, both financial and military.
