The British fashion label Threadbare from Manchester is expanding its range and is launching its own tailoring collection for the first time. The nine-piece men’s collection will go on sale at the end of June 2026 and marks the brand’s entry into the formal wear segment.
The collection includes single- and double-breasted jackets and matching suit trousers in navy, stone, gray check and black. The models have been designed to be worn both as a complete suit and as a separate styling element. Threadbare relies on a versatile approach that combines classic business and occasion fashion with a look suitable for everyday use.
“We wanted to create suits that men would actually wear regularly,” explains Anoushka Mehan, Head of Brand at Threadbare. “Formal clothing was often only bought for weddings or special occasions and rarely worn afterwards. Our goal was to make tailoring more accessible and versatile and to integrate formal fashion more into everyday life.”
In terms of price, the collection is positioned in the entry-level segment. Jackets start at around 75 euros, suit trousers at around 41 euros.
Founded in 2017 by father-daughter duo Sanjeev and Anoushka Mehan, Threadbare originally started as a menswear label. A womenswear line was introduced in 2021. The brand is available through retail partners Next, Frasers, Asos and Debenhams, among others, and also sells its products through its own online shop.
