Afraid of stretched standards

If the Council agrees tonight to the proposal, it will be placed with the ILT, and must come up with an official response. The ILT usually imposes administrative fines, or forces organizations to restore recovery operations, whereby situations must be undone.
If the enforcement request does not lead to anything, the working group does not exclude a walk to court. “I hope we really do that,” Els Gasseling (PvdA) of the working group looked ahead earlier. “We have been treated unfairly and that must be over.”
