The European football association Uefa is planning to renew the Supercup.

At the beginning of every season, the winners of the Champions League and Europa League meet in the Football Supercup. They want to make big changes to the final, which has been played as a one-piece since 1998, reports the Guardian.
According to Brittilehti, Uefa is considering an option where the Supercup would be made into a four-team tournament. The matches would be played in the United States due to the fan base here and the utilization of TV rights agreements. According to the Guardian’s sources, the tournament could be turned into a weekend-long festival.
In the model put on the table, the winners of the Champions League and Europa League would participate in the tournament, as in the previous model, but the winner of UEFA’s third competition, the Conference League, would also be invited. The team would be completed with the champion of the MLS league.
Further discussions on the subject are planned to take place at the two-day meeting of European football bosses starting today in Istanbul.
