UEFA introduced the official match ball that will be used in the 2024 European Football Championship (EURO 2024) to be held in Germany.
A ceremony was held in front of the Olympic Stadium in the capital Berlin to introduce the ball called “Fussballliebe”, which is produced by the Adidas company and means “love of football” in German.
In the statement made by UEFA, it was stated that thanks to the technology used, information about every movement of the ball will be provided, which will contribute to the decision-making process of the video assistant referee (VAR).
EURO 2024 will take place in 10 cities in Germany between 14 June and 14 July 2024.
