Mathias Vacek, 19-year-old Czech from Gazprom-RusVelo, won the sixth stage of the UAE Tour, 180 kilometers starting and finishing at the Dubai Expo. For the first time in this edition, an escape from afar went through, on which the group was unable to close. Vacek was born in 2002: in the short sprint he beat the French Lapeira and the Russian teammate Strakhov, with Alessandro Tonelli (Bardiani-Csf-Faizané) fourth. Philipsen, at 15 ”, finished in sixth place setting the group of the best in which there was a fall in the final.

Tadej Pogacar, a 23-year-old Slovenian from the UAE-Emirates reigning champion, has kept the red jersey as leader of the general classification.
