U.S. Department of Education honors Charlie Kirk with banner, despite his earlier call to abolish department

In Washington DC. the U.S. Department of Education has hung large banners on the facade of its capitol building honoring what it calls “visionary leaders.” One of them is the late right-wing activist Charlie Kirk. There is criticism on social media because Kirk called for the abolition of the same ministry last year.
