Tyler Seguin’s giant contract is currently the most expensive in the NHL

When comparing the NHL’s total salaries, you wouldn’t think that the league’s salary king is a regressed star player. Dallas Stars Tyler Seguin will enjoy a total salary of 13 million dollars next season.

In 2018, Seguin signed an eight-year contract with an average salary of 9.85 million. The total contract salary for him fluctuates Capfriendly– according to the website, annually. From the past and the upcoming season, the Canadian earns 13 million, but after that the number drops to a good eight million.

The forward from Dallas has not been successful on the field for his salary. Last season, he scored only 49 points in the regular season. The power reading was a dismal -21.

He will miss the 2020–21 season almost entirely due to hip and knee surgeries. The last time the forward has reached 80 points in the first year of his giant contract.
