The Guardian, considered one of the most prestigious publications in the world, announced the 2025 edition of its traditional “Next Generation” list. In the list of the 60 most talented football players under the age of 18, two young names representing Turkish football attracted attention: Kayserispor’s 17-year-old goalkeeper Deniz Dönmezer and Galatasaray’s 17-year-old number 10 Furkan Koçak.
In addition to Turkish players, the list of 60 players also included many young talents who are expected to shape the future of world football. Names such as Senegalese star candidate Amara Diouf, who is allegedly on Fenerbahçe’s transfer list, Ibrahim Mbaye from Paris Saint-Germain, Lennart Karl from Bayern Munich, Francesco Camarda from Milan, Samuele Inacio from Borussia Dortmund and Dro Fernandez and Toni Fernandez from Barcelona are among the prominent players on the list.
