Two-thirds of Dutch people are in favor of a fireworks ban, but right-wing voters want to preserve tradition

Will this be the last New Year’s Eve where we light fireworks ourselves? If it were up to most Dutch people, yes. Two-thirds of people are in favor of a national fireworks ban. This emerged from a survey by Kieskompas and the ANP that more than 56,000 Dutch people completed. One in ten Dutch people do not have a strong opinion.
