The two injured were rushed to hospital. An air ambulance was called in due to the seriousness of the situation. The trauma doctor accompanied the injured to the hospital, reports the regional broadcaster.
The photos show that little of the car is left. “It was broken into several pieces. Seats of the car on the road, as well as headlights and rims,” said a reporter on site. It is not yet clear what exactly happened.
The accident happened around 6 a.m. Friday morning. The road has been closed from Quirijnstoklaan to Textielplein. This will probably take hours.
