Two Russian oil tankers in trouble due to strong waves in the Kerch Strait

The Volgoneft-212 and Volgoneft-239, two oil tankers of the Russian company Volgotanker, ran into problems during their passage through the Kerch Strait, between the Russian mainland and Crimea. The high waves crashed against the ships, causing at least one ship to break in two and sink, and the other to be damaged as well. A rescue operation is underway to get the crew of the two ships to safety; images show oil pollution.
