Two nine-darters in one evening, Noppert wins Dutch get-together at UK Open | Darts

Both Noppert and Van Duijvenbode have never reached the eighth finals of the UK Open. For Noppert, the adventure continues for a while. Tomorrow are the quarter- and semi-finals and also the final. Last year, the Englishman James Wade was the winner.

Until the first break, Noppert and Van Duijvenbode were equal, but immediately afterwards Noppert placed the first break: 4-2. Van Duijvenbode seemed upset and then lost no less than four legs in a row. With a score of 8-2 in favor of Noppert, the darters went into the second break.

This afternoon Michael van Gerwen lost, which meant he had to give up third place in the world ranking to Wade and dropped to fourth place.

Less than half an hour after Wade had thrown a nine-darter, compatriot Michael Smith did it. bullyboy managed to beat the Austrian Mensur Suljovic.
