The first new signing for the coming season at FC Bayern is still a long way off. But there are increasing signs that there could be a first transfer in the next few weeks. Because with two players from Ajax Amsterdam it becomes more concrete: Ryan Gravenberch and Noussair Mazraoui. While the competition in the case of Mazraouis with FC Barcelona is prominent, Bayern has pole position at Gravenberch. Two new names
Should the Mazaroui change burst, could Pedro Porro be a candidate. The 22-year-old Spaniard is currently under contract with Sporting Lisbon and is on loan from Manchester City. As the Portuguese medium “A Bola” and the Spanish sports newspaper “Marca” report, the Bavarians are interested in Porro. The playfully strong right foot has at least two more years of contract with the “Skyblues”, so a transfer fee would be due. Another name traded in some media is that of Cody Gakpo. The 22-year-old winger from PSV Eindhoven is linked to the German record champions by “The Athletic”. Gakpo is fast, good at dribbling and dangerous in goals. In the current season, the Dutch international has scored 16 goals and prepared 15 more in 37 competitive games.

But: Gakpo only extended his contract in Eindhoven in January until 2026. According to “The Athletic” he has no release clause, but PSV are in agreement with a move in the summer. However, the price could be over 40 million euros, as there is also interest in Gakpo from England. Liverpool and Arsenal are said to be among Bayern’s opponents. He is also being watched closely in Barcelona.
The next transfers must sit
The current phase is the beginning of a long and intensive search for the right reinforcements for FC Bayern. Because the transfers have to be right. After previous transfers such as Marcel Sabitzer or Bouna Sarr could not meet expectations and royal transfers such as Lucas Hernández (80 million euros) or Dayot Upamecano (40 million euros) could not yet justify their sum, the Bayern management is under pressure.
