A chain collision between three cars on the A28 near Eelde provided a long traffic jam in the direction of Assen at the end of the afternoon
Part of the road was closed, but is now open again. Two people were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. A third driver could continue his way.
At the peak there were more than 14 kilometers of traffic jams between the Julianaplein junction and the Eelde exit.
