Two people were injured in an accident on the N307 Westfrisiaweg near Bovenkarspel. Three cars were involved in the accident, police said.
The collision happened around 5 p.m. this afternoon. Emergency services, including an ambulance, immediately went to the scene of the accident. The injured were helped there and then one of them was taken to the hospital. It is not clear how the victims are doing at the moment.
Police say the road is currently closed as an investigation into the accident continues.
