Two people were injured in an accident with a crane on the Maliebaan in Utrecht on Monday. Part of a crane ended up on a building, can be seen on images from RTV Utrecht. According to a police spokesman, it is the so-called boom of the crane.
It is not yet known how serious the injuries are. According to a spokesman for the Utrecht Security Region, someone was trapped in the accident. The fire brigade has been deployed with a specialized team to provide assistance. A police helicopter is also providing support, according to the police.
