The accident happened around 10.20 am at the intersection of the Huiswaarderweg with the Laan van Strasbourg. A police spokesperson says that the collision between the two passenger cars was a ‘big blow’.
Two victims to hospital
Two people were injured in the collision. They were taken to the hospital. The police cannot say anything about their condition. It is not clear whether these were the drivers of the vehicles.
How the accident could happen is not clear. “Possibly one of the cars involved has been driven by red,” the police said. The traffic police will investigate the circumstances of the accident.
