SC Paderborn narrowly won against Prussia Münster in the 2nd Bundesliga. The decision was made in the final phase.
First Marvin Mehlem scored in the 81st minute to lead SC Paderborn before Ilyas looked at 2-0 (0-0) final score. The team of coach Lukas Kwasniok can continue to dream after the tenth win of the season, the second in a row. With 37 points, the SCP remains in the table of the 2nd Bundesliga above.
For the promoted Münster it was the third defeat one after the other. As table-15. the club is in the risk of relegation.
Münster more dangerous, but without luck in the end
The better goal chances had the guests from Münster in a mixed first half. Florian Pick fled the ball from a central position just over the gate (34th). And Etienne Amenyido aimed at the long corner after Jano Ter Horst was presented, but failed to Markus Schubert. Paderborn’s goalkeeper saw the ball late – and kept strong (42nd).
Paderborn becomes stronger and meets aluminum
The Paderborns only got good opportunities after the break – but they were very good for that. At first Sven Michel player Marvin Mehlem, who took a shot from twelve, thirteen meters and hit the left post (48.).
Template Michel was also involved when it was dangerous again three minutes later in front of the guests from Münster. Michel was already in the penalty area when he got the ball. With his conclusion, however, he failed to goalkeeper Johannes Schenk.
Paderborn only cheers briefly
When a goal fell later, the Paderborn cheered – but they only cheered. Filip Bilbija scored from a short distance, but referee Patrick Alt had previously seen a foul by Ilyas. The hit did not count (74.).
