Two dead and dozens injured in Oslo nightclub shooting

At least two people have been killed and dozens injured in a shooting in the Norwegian capital Oslo. According to Reuters news agency a man opened fire on clubbers at the London Pub, an LGBTQI bar in the center of the city. One person has been arrested in connection with the shooting.

According to a local reporter who witnessed the shooting, the gunman was a man who took a weapon from a bag on arrival at the nightclub and opened fire. Up to 20 rounds were allegedly fired. In and around the nightclub panic ensued among the public.

It was quite busy around the popular London Pub because of the Pride, which will be celebrated in various places in Oslo this weekend. Tomorrow the Pride Parade is planned in Oslo, it is unknown whether it will take place.

After the shooting, the emergency services rushed out en masse, including helicopters and several ambulances. In the hospital of Oslo, red alert has been announced in connection with the shooting, so that people in critical condition can be helped extra quickly.
