Berlin is simply wonderful!
680 experts tested and decided! There are two German representatives among the 100 best bars worldwide, both from the capital. The best drinks in Germany are therefore in Berlin.
“The World’s 50 Best Bars” is one annual list, which has been honoring the best in the international beverage industry since 2009. From hotel bars to mysterious pubs and bizarre salons to classic pubs, everything is represented.
Contrary to what the name suggests, not only the 50, but the 100 best are chosen.
They were unveiled on October 17 at an awards ceremony at the Pasir Panjang Power Station in Singapore.
The Berlin “Wax On” is in 29th place. In the bar on Weserstrasse (Neukölln district), cocktails with “magic” are created, according to the experts. Also top class: Another Berlin bar is in the top 100. The “Velvet”, also in Neukölln, is in 77th place.
