FC Twente has put an end to the undefeated home status of Go Ahead Eagles. The team of coach René Hake triumphed in the Adelaarshorst with 1-3 and narrowed the gap with Feyenoord, which lost the top match against PSV 1-2, to two points. Twente mainly owed the victory to a formidable start. After just 34 seconds, Manfred Ugalde opened the scoring.
