Twan Huys in viewing swamp, will Caroline van der Plas pull him out?

Twan Huys was a regular guest in his RTL time, but now he is back in it again: the viewing swamp. His College Tour program scored shockingly badly yesterday. Will he be rescued by the BBB?

After 721 thousand viewers for the episode with Sigrid Kaag and 406 thousand for the one with Jutta Leerdam, the third episode of College Tour with Mercedes Benz boss Ola Källenius attracted only 198 thousand viewers last night (6 percent market share). That is not enough for a place in the daily viewing figure top 25.

Twan scores badly

In other words: College Tour star Twan Huys is in the viewing swamp and not just about. “Twan Huys does not believe what he sees: only 198 thousand viewers for the episode with Ola Källenius. That is no less than 523 thousand less than Sigrid Kaag watched and I don’t think the College Tour has ever scored lower than this.” say viewing figure connoisseur Tina Nijkamp.

Joost Maiburg, the viewing figure connoisseur of RTL Boulevard, speaks of ‘a very low score’. “Even Veronica attracted more viewers with a purchased series and a repeat of Buying Without Watching was also close behind Twan.”

Caroline lifesaver?

Fortunately, Twan has a pretty appealing guest on the menu this week: Caroline van der Plas. The episode will be recorded on Friday and then aired on Sunday. Will the leader of the BoerBurgerBeweging pull him out of the viewing swamp again? Will she match Sigrid Kaag’s high ratings?

In any case, Twan has a lot to discuss with Caroline. For example, Harry Mens has already offered himself as minister for a possible Van der Plas cabinet. “The only thing I would like to do is become Minister of Housing and Spatial Planning under her reign,” says the Business Class star.

Bad score Dennis

By the way, who is lying next to Twan in the viewing swamp? Dennis van der Geest. His expensive TV show Million Dollar Island now drops below the three hundred thousand mark and grabs 293 thousand viewers. “In Belgium, it does not even score 100,000 viewers,” says Tina.

She continues: “It has never been sold to America and it will not happen again with these figures. Curious about Talpa’s new survival show coming this fall, made by Giel de Winter. Let’s hope that John de Mol will score…”
