TV tip: Pop Around the Clock New Year’s Eve 2023 – the concerts on 3sat

On New Year’s Eve, 3sat will again show top concerts – including Madonna and the Rolling Stones.

Also on New Year’s Eve 2023, 3sat will ring in the new year with Pop Around the Clock. The public broadcaster shows concerts and music highlights from the biggest stars throughout the day.

The day starts with Bob Dylan: “Shadow Kingdom – The Early Songs”, a mini-concert film released in 2023 and which the musician took seven days to produce in 2021, starts at 6:15 a.m. The focus is on the early songs, which have been rearranged.

On February 25, 2020, drummer Mick Fleetwood gathered a star ensemble in London to celebrate the music of blues legend Peter Green, one of the founding members of Fleetwood Mac. The show will be shown on December 31st from 9:15 a.m. on 3sat.

In the afternoon, Sting, Herbert Grönemeyer and Céline Dion will be seen, followed by Paul McCartney & Wings. Afterwards, Tina Turner will provide a party atmosphere in the evening with a recording of her 50th concert anniversary and The Rolling Stones. The new year finally begins with Madonna – with a concert on her “Rebel Heart” tour.
