Rally Finland Wrc: the race

No non-Scandinavian driver, before 1990, had managed to conquer the Rally Mille Laghi. A tough Rally, with an incalculable number of jumps and very high average speeds, long special stages to be faced head on, with great courage and experience, aware of the fact that a small mistake can cost a lot. Difficult roads that have forged the Finnish school, which has always been at the top of the entry list of the World Rally in every generation with fast, cold and constant drivers. It was Carlos Sainz who interrupted a spell that seemed destined to last forever. After Sainz’s feat, only Didier Auriol (1992), Markko Martin (2003), Sebastien Loeb (2008, 2011, 2012), Sebastien Ogier (2013), Kris Meeke (2016), Ott Tanak (2018, 2019) and Elfyn Evans (2021) have managed to put a spoke in the wheel of the Finnish drivers.
