GGD Drenthe administered 91,443 corona vaccinations between October 2 and December 29.
That is more than the previously estimated number of 75,000 injections. In Drenthe you could get the corona shot in 8 of the 12 municipalities.
Flexible locations and mobile teams
First there were four fixed injection locations in Drenthe, this time eight flexible locations have been set up. In addition to the larger injection locations in Assen, Emmen and Beilen, residents could also go to smaller injection locations in Nijeveen, Hoogeveen, Dwingeloo, Borger and Nieuw-Roden.
The GGD visited healthcare institutions and non-mobile people living at home to give the corona shot.
The corona shot remains available for pregnant women and people with a referral from a treating doctor.
