A National Women’s Volleyball Team defeated Germany 3-0 in the first match of the 2nd round Group F of the FIVB World Championship.


The national team, which did not start well in the match played in Lodz, Poland, had problems in meeting the service at the beginning of the match. Melting the difference of up to five points in the fight with the effective play of Hande Baladin and Saliha Şahin, the national team won the first set 25-21.


Despite falling back four points in the second set, Eda Erdem Dündar, Cansu Özbay and Zehra Güneş had the points ahead and the national team finished the second set ahead 25-18.


Knowing that he was behind during the match, the national team won the set 25-21 and the match 3-0, despite experiencing the same situation in the last set.


The Nationals will face Canada in the second match of the 2nd round at 18.30 CEST tomorrow.
