Türkan Şoray and Kadir İnanır meet after years

Türkan Şoray and Kadir İnanır will attend the opening of the Writing Museum in Eskişehir for the first time in a long time. Wax sculptures of master artists will also be made.

Türkan Şoray and Kadir İnanır are getting ready to meet again after a long time for a special event.

The two master artists, who will go to Eskişehir in June with the invitation of Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yılmaz Büyükerşen, will first attend the opening of the Writing Museum.

Then the measurements will be taken for the wax statues of the duo. After the sculptures of the artists are completed, they will be exhibited at the Yılmaz Büyükerşen Wax Sculptures Museum.

THEY LOOKED TOGETHER IN 11 MOVIES

Türkan Şoray and Kadir İnanır, who are shown as the most suitable couple in Yeşilçam’s love films, acted in front of the camera in 11 films. The duo first acted together in Atıf Yılmaz’s movie “Black Eyes” in 1971. Master artists were last seen on the screen together in 2003 in “Send Letters”. In an interview they gave before, the duo described the success of the films they acted together as follows: “We are very happy with the quality and success of the films we make. The interest shown in our films for years is a testament to our success.”

‘KADİR, THE PERSON I HAD THE MOST PLAYING’

Türkan Şoray had stated that Kadir İnanır was the person she most enjoyed playing in her 50-year film career. In an interview, Şoray said, “There are allegations that you had a love affair with Kadir İnanır for a while. Are these true?” He gave the following answer to the question: “It is a miracle of cinema that I am associated with Kadir. Kadir is also looking very nice. A person who looks from the heart. When we say ‘camera’ there, we really become two people in love. If it doesn’t end when you say ‘stop’, you’re burned out. You condition it in your brain. In front of the camera is a sacred place.”
