Turbulence at the KSC: Vice President Martin Müller is threatened with deselection

As of: February 5, 2024 4:39 p.m

The management team at Karlsruher SC cannot relax. The members’ council now decides to hold a virtual general meeting – with only one agenda item.

Martin Müller has to submit a request to be voted out as Vice President of Karlsruher SC. The members’ council of the second division club decided to hold an extraordinary general meeting in virtual form on Monday. The president of the club must now convene this meeting immediately, according to a statement from the KSC.

One and only Agenda item the planned meeting

The request for Müller’s dismissal was the only item on the agenda for the planned meeting. However, a date has not yet been set.

“Disturbed relationship”

In its justification for the application, the members’ council describes the relationship between Müller and other advisory board members as “so disturbed or shattered that constructive and trusting cooperation within the committees and in the interests of the KSC is clearly no longer possible.”

The relationship between the vice president and the management as well as the Baden division managers is also “deeply strained”. In the past few months there have been repeated conflicts in the KSC management team. Müller was not exonerated at the general meeting last December.
