02.06.2025 – 07:05 a.m.Reading time: 2 min.

19 of the 20 participants in the 3rd division have already been determined. A team was determined on Sunday. The game ended turbulent.
TSV Havelse will play in the 3rd league in the coming season. The club from the Regionalliga Nord prevailed 3-0 after extra time in the second leg against the Northeast Master 1st FC Lok Leipzig. Havelse is the fourth and last promoted.
Julius Düker (95th minute), Marko Ilic (110th) and Lorenzo Paldino (113.) scored the hits in the extension. After a 1-1 in the first leg, it was already indicated that Havelse would play for victory on their own place – with success.
The game was competitive, a total of four references underlined the hardness of the game. On the Leipzig side, Tobias Dombrowa (80th) and Luc Elsner (118th) each had to get off the square with yellow-red, Pasqual Ver Verb in the 116th minute saw red. Havelse’s scorer Paldino was also expelled in the 115th minute with yellow-red of the field because he undressed the jersey at the goal.
Havelse was the more active team over long distances. Besfort Kolgeci (30th) scored the post in the first half. A hit by Captain Düker (49.) did not count due to offside. Lok Leipzig only became more dangerous in the second half – Djamal Ziane missed the best chance (65th), but even saved on his own goal line (79.) shortly before the end.
The rise of TSV Havelse falls at a time when the structure of the regional leagues is discussed again. There are currently five seasons, but only four promotion places in the 3rd league. While the masters of the Regionalliga West and Southwest rise directly, the teams from the north, northeast and Bavaria have to be either relegated or receive the direct ticket. A group of more than 20 clubs calls for a reform-a decision about it is expected in November at the DFB Bundestag.
