Remains in 3rd division
Tim Rieder (28) will appear again for TSV 1860 Munich. The “lions” reported this on Monday. The midfielder is leaving neighboring Türkgücü after this season, in which he played 31 games in all competitions before Bayern withdrew from the game in March due to bankruptcy.
“Tim played an important role in our team two years ago as a player on loan because he embodies and lives the values of TSV 1860 100 percent with his personality and the way he plays. Tim can take several positions in the defensive network at a high level and now there was the opportunity to tie Tim to TSV 1860. That’s why we convinced him again for our joint project,” commented sports director Günther Gorenzel-Simonitsch on the commitment. Rieder was loaned out by FC Augsburg to Bayern Munich in the 2019/20 season, for whom he played 26 games.
