PARIS – He was one of those top tennis players who always made everyone happy, but Jo-Wilfried Tsonga’s career is now over. The dynamic Frenchman, now 37 years old, said goodbye in a dramatic way in the first round of Roland Garros. During the final phase of the duel with Norwegian Casper Ruud, he struggled with a shoulder injury and ‘Jo’ cried tears while playing tennis.
