After Luis Engelns, TSG Hoffenheim hit the transfer market again on deadline day. Center forward Yannick Eduardo is coming and will initially be introduced to the professionals via the U23s. The 20-year-old was most recently on loan from RB Leipzig to Dutch second division club FC Dordrecht.
According to “Sky”, Eduardo is moving to 1899 for 2 million euros. However, the transfer fee does not go to RB, but to Dordrecht, which previously exercised the purchase option of 500,000 euros for the offensive force. “Yannick is a fast center forward, strong in the air, who has the necessary goal threat and his profile fits our game idea very well. He showed this with his goals in the first half of this season. He should regularly gain important match practice in our U23 and develop in the future to our Bundesliga level,” said director of sports Frank Kramer.
In the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, the attacker became one of the three top scorers, Eduardo has twelve goals and five assists from 22 league games. The striker has Czech and Dutch citizenship and is a current Czech Republic U21 national team player.
