Storm talent Max Moerstedt (18) has committed to TSG Hoffenheim for the long term. The U17 World and European champion extended his contract in Kraichgau until 2027. “We have a clear plan for Max, who is also prepared to follow this path with us step by step,” explained TSG managing director Alexander Rosen. The Mannheim native has not yet played in a competitive game with the professionals he trains with, but he is by far the top scorer in the TSG U19 team.

“We firmly integrated him into the training of the professionals in January of this year,” added Rosen about Moerstedt. “He is gaining the competition practice that is essential, especially in this age group, in our U19, which is currently comfortably leading the table in the Bundesliga South/Southwest, not least because of Max’s 14 goals. But he is also already convincing in the training sessions for the professionals.”
