Trump says he didn’t flush documents in White House toilets

Former US President Donald Trump called fake information from the book of journalist Maggie Haberman “Confidence man” that during his time in office he flushed documents in the toilet at the White House, reports fox news.

“Another fake story about me flushing papers and documents down the White House toilet is categorically untrue and just made up by a reporter to draw attention to a largely fictitious book,” Trump said in a statement.

Haberman is a political analyst for CNN and a White House correspondent for The New York Times.

The fact that the 45th President of the United States may have washed away government documents, the journalist learned from White House employees who worked at the presidential residence and periodically found scraps of printed papers clogging the toilet. She wrote about this in her book about Trump, which will be released soon. Excerpts from it were published by Axios.

Another White House journalist, correspondent Bloomberg Jennifer Jacobs on her Twitter wrote in support of Haberman that her information is “100% accurate” and added that, according to her sources, employees of the presidential residence did find torn papers in a clogged toilet that Trump could flush there.
