US President Donald Trump has granted a “full and unconditional pardon” to Ross Ulbricht, who is serving a life sentence for creating and running the Silk Road website. That site allowed users to buy and sell drugs and other illegal products anonymously, and accepted bitcoins as payment. In doing so, he fulfills an earlier campaign promise.
