US President Donald Trump expects a deal with Bytedance, the Chinese parent company of Tiktok, about the sale of parts of the popular video app for the deadline. The United States introduced a law last year whereby bytedance is obliged to sell on pain of a download ban. Trump gave himself earlier until April 5, next Saturday, to find a non-Chinese buyer.
