After Donald Trump had withdrawn the nomination of the tech entrepreneur Jared Isaacman for the post, the president announced that Duffy would take over NASA temporarily. After Elon Musk completed his last day as the official Federal Government employee, Trump withdrew Isaacman’s nomination to the management of NASA just a few days before the Senate’s planned confirmation. In a statement, Trump said that after a “thorough review” of Isaacman’s “previous connections”, he made the decision. Which apparently alluded to the Democrats on earlier donations.
Musk in a dispute with Trump – and Isaacman in between
Isaacman, a close friend of Musk, who has already participated in two SpaceX missions, seems to have advised between the fronts of the public feud between the richest man in the world and the president. In June – Musk – no longer an official member of Trump’s government – described the “large, beautiful law” of the president as “disgusting hideousness”.
After the law was signed, Musk announced that he had founded a new political party – the “America Party”. And first to target some congress elections. But without becoming specific.
Meanwhile, it is hoped that Duffy (who does not dare to get into line 6) will be willing to take over a government agency. One that has sent people to the moon and probes to interstellar space.
