A truck lost a gigantic caterpillar track at the Zonzeel junction on the A59 on Wednesday morning. The tire is cleaned up in the evening and at night. The connecting road from Waalwijk to Breda (A16) is therefore closed until five o’clock at night.
The caterpillar track was intended for a mining machine and weighs no less than 36 tons. Rijkswaterstaat waited until the evening to clean up to limit disruption on the road.
