The truck of Daan Baarslag from Hoogeveen is just not the most beautiful truck in the Netherlands. De Hoogevener took part in that election during the Truckstar Festival in Assen. He just missed the win and finished second.
Baarslag was nominated with his truck in the special vehicles category. In total there were 24 finalists, divided into eight categories. The winners were announced this morning.
The jury found the Hoogevener truck to be the second most beautiful. According to the jury report, Baarslag picks up other vehicles in style with his Scania. The truck has a super interior, even the children’s seat is upholstered in the same style.
Today is the second day of the Truckstar Festival. There are more than 2300 trucks on display. RTV Drenthe made this report yesterday:
