Apple, the IT giant with billions in sales and profits, has various pillars. The group continues to generate around half of its revenue from the iPhone. But the “Services” division is by far the fastest growing and is becoming increasingly important.

6th place: The ranking
In fiscal year 2025, Apple had net sales of $416.2 billion. This corresponds to an increase of 6.4 percent compared to the previous year, in which the group had sales of 391.0 billion US dollars. The ranking shows which business areas contributed the most to the company’s great success. The data is as of December 31, 2025, the information in the ranking refers to Apple’s official annual report for 2025.

5th place: iPad
Fifth place goes to the “iPad” division. This generated net sales of $28.0 billion in 2025. Compared to net sales of $26.7 billion achieved in 2024, this represents an increase in sales of around five percent. The iPad remains the smallest product segment in the Apple portfolio.

4th place: Mac
The Mac division achieved a 12.4 percent increase in sales last year compared to the previous year. Apple’s popular desktop and laptop computers brought in a total of 33.7 billion US dollars in the 2025 financial year – in 2024 it was just under 30.0 billion US dollars. This means that the Mac sector recorded the strongest percentage growth of all hardware segments.

3rd place: Accessories
The wearables, home and accessories category brought the successful Californian company sales of $35.7 billion in 2025. This includes, for example, the sale of AirPods, the Apple TV, the Apple Watch, the Apple Vision Pro or Beats products. Compared to the previous year, in which the division had sales of 37.0 billion US dollars, net sales in this division fell by 3.5 percent. This makes wearables the only segment in which Apple suffered a decline in sales in 2025.

2nd place: Services
Services brought in a total of $109.2 billion in sales for the company under Tim Cook in 2025, which corresponds to a significant increase of 13.5 percent compared to the previous year – in the previous year sales were still at $96.17 billion. In addition to digital content and other services, services also include AppleCare – a service that provides Apple users with expert technical support, hardware protection and other extras. Apple itself described 2025 as a record year for the services sector in a statement in the newsroom.

1st place: iPhone
The iPhone remains Apple’s most important revenue generator by far. In fiscal year 2025, net sales generated by the iPhone were $209.6 billion. This corresponds to an increase of 4.2 percent compared to the previous year and accounts for around 50.4 percent of Apple’s total sales.
