FRANKFURT (Dow Jones) — Traders expect the DAX to rise at the end of trading on Friday. Three market participants surveyed by Dow Jones Newswires expect an average DAX level of 14,317 points at the Xetra close. This corresponds to an increase of 0.4 percent. All dealers expect a rising index with a forecast range of 14,300 to 14,350 points.
Most recently, the DAX closed at 14,265 points. Since the beginning of the year, it has been down 10.2 percent. The index moved between 11,862.84 (September 28) and 16,285.35 points (January 5).
