atac guarantee bands
—
There are two guarantee bands regarding the service Atac: one in the morning, from the start of service until 8.29amand one in the afternoon, between 5pm and 7.59pm.
the reasons for the strike
—
These are the main reasons for the strike: against war, the war economy and the increase in military spending – for peace starting from the Middle East and Europe and investments in health, school, transport, welfare whose worsening deepens existing inequalities and poverty; against exploitation at work, precariousness and failure to adjust the wages of workers in the public and private sectors. For strong increases in wages and pensions. For the approval of a minimum wage measure of no less than 12 euros per hour and for the reintroduction of an automatic mechanism for adjusting wages to changes in the cost of living; against the genocide in Palestine, the supply of weapons to Israel and the absence of concrete intervention to dissociate itself from the horrible crimes perpetrated by the Israeli government in Palestine and Lebanon, as well as those perpetrated by the USA in Venezuela and Cuba – for the unconditional support for the mission of the new Flotilla and the protection of the volunteers committed to bringing aid to the Palestinian people. For the sanctions on Israel and the USA, as well as the breaking of diplomatic and commercial relations with Israel and the USA; -against the absence of social policies starting with the housing emergency and the lack of social housing development plans, for a serious reform of social safety nets; against repressive policies of the various “Security” decrees (such as the legislative decree 23/2026 and the previous ones of 2025) to strengthen the repression of dissent, protests and urban security; against the abuses of the Guarantee Commission, the resolutions that restrict the right to strike and the attempt to muzzle the struggles in the logistics sector. For the repeal of laws 146/90 and 83/00; against the absence of industrial policies capable of addressing the ongoing transitions and overcoming the phase of strong conflict, triggering a process of further deindustrialization and exploitation of the popular classes and workers; against deaths at work, for the protection of the health and safety of workers in the workplace.
