The 35-year-old came to Union from Bundesliga rivals FC Augsburg in 2020 and played 65 competitive games for the capital club. The goalkeeper, who was born in Velbert, helped the Köpenickers to establish themselves in the Bundesliga. All in all, the long-time player from Bochum played 89 games in the Bundesliga, 153 in the second division and 15 in the DFB Cup. There are also international assignments for Union.

A week before the start of training, Union has further strengthened its squad. Milos Pantovic is coming to the Irons from league rivals VfL Bochum, as the club announced on Monday. Union did not provide any information about the contract term of the free transfer 25-year-old midfielder.

Pantovic has played 100 competitive games for Bochum, in which the native of Munich scored 13 goals and provided 14 assists. Especially in the past season, Pantovic attracted attention with two goals from long distances against Hoffenheim and Freiburg.
