Continuing his work in Antalya’s Belek tourism center during the break due to the World Cup, coach Andrea Pirlo made statements in Karagümrük. Emphasizing that the players who left the team were the preferences of both him and the managers, Pirlo said, “We thank our departed players for their contribution until this period of the season, but this was a choice. We have used our preference since then. We have a shortage of left-back, and we will complete this in the transfer window in January. We can find other alternatives to this region within the squad,” he said.
“WE ARE A COMPETITIVE TEAM”
Pirlo answered the question regarding the lack of Turkish quota in the team as follows:
We will find 3 good Turks in our team. They will also use this chance and wear the jersey. We are a competitive team, in order to be even more competitive, we are thinking of supplementing the areas we lack in defender and left back. We have a good squad on offense. On top of it came 2 moves such as Ljajic and Feghouli.
“ATMOSPHERE IN THE TEAM IS VERY GOOD”
Expressing that they played 2 friendly matches in the camp, Pirlo said, “Both of them have made significant contributions to our development. I have been going to Qatar in the past years, it is a developing country and the organization is going well. The World Cup is full of surprises. Congratulations to Morocco, they made the biggest surprise. The other semi-finalists are the expected teams.
