TRANSFER NEWS | Pierria Henry bids farewell to Fenerbahçe Beko!

Fenerbahce Beko, who brought Dimitris Itoudis to the head coaching position, strengthened its squad with two names such as Johnathan Motley and Samet Geyik. There was a separation in Yellow Lacivertliler today. The Senegalese player, who joined Fenerbahce Beko from Bitci Baskonia last summer, said goodbye with an emotional post on his social media account.

Pierria Henry started her words by saying “thank you all for the unconditional love”. “When I lost my cousin at the beginning of the season and loved ones throughout the season, you embraced me and allowed me to be a part of this wonderful family. It was no secret that we were champions from the beginning and we were destined to be champions. If we didn’t stand together against the odds. we would never have finished strong. This allowed us not only to beat (arguably the best team in Europe) but to become what we all know! (best team in Europe) I am extremely grateful to be surrounded by a group of kindhearted people and “I am blessed. To all my working brothers and sisters. I have learned and gained a lot from this season. I had a great experience, wow, great, fun, lots of great memories. Until we meet again, this is my goodbye for now. With eternal gratitude, love and a championship mentality.”

The playmaker, who joined Fenerbahçe Beko’s squad in June 2021, took time in 28 EuroLeague matches with the Yellow and Blues. The Senegalese playmaker averaged 7.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game.
