In a statement made on December 26, Monaco stated that the contract of the 27-year-old player, who was included in the squad at the beginning of the season, was terminated by mutual agreement. The French team noted that Furkan Korkmaz could not reveal his potential due to his injuries.
The national basketball player could only play in 3 matches in the THY Europa League this season. Furkan returned to Europe at the beginning of the season after his 7-year NBA adventure.
