Transfer market: Roma opens the Raspadori track

If Nicolò were to leave, the Giallorossi club would aim for the jewel of Sassuolo, more functional to Mourinho’s game

The future that advances could have the face of a boy chasing the World Cup. His name is Giacomo Raspadori, he is 22 years old and Roma have included him in next season’s goals. All this, should a starting condition occur, that is the farewell to Nicolò Zaniolo, who tactically seems to suffer in José Mourinho’s game systems, both (above all) if he has to play as a second striker and as a winger in the 4-2-3 -1. Instead Raspadori could be perfect as Abraham’s partner in the current 3-5-2 or, if the Portuguese coach were to return to the favorite 4-2-3-1, to juggle behind the English striker, forming an attack tandem young and well matched.

Strategies

The tip of Sassuolo has a contract until 2024 and there are many companies that have targeted him, but Roma historically enjoys excellent relations with the neroverde club and it is not excluded that – given a fair valuation (around 30 million) – some babies from the Trigoria youth sector who are showing off cannot be included in the deal. Moral: the long summer of transfer market has already begun. But to have a reliable budget it will be necessary to wait and see what the seasonal objectives will be achieved. At that point, some dreams may come true. Starting with Raspadori.
