Squad value increases by 23.3 million
The Spanish first division club Real Betis brought in three new players immediately before the transfer deadline and increased the squad value by another 23.3 million euros. The Andalusian club announced the signings of Pablo Fornals (27), Chimy Ávila (29) and Cédric Bakambu (32) late on Thursday evening.
With a market value of 17 million euros, Fornals is one of the most valuable signings in Betis history – only four players were valued higher. In the current squad, Fornals is only surpassed by Guido Rodríguez (29).
